Message	I had a fire under my hood as well about 2 yrs ago. Mine was caused by a coil packet that went bad and melted down. I am guessing it sparked at some point and ignited some gas fumes that were emitted either by a leaking fuel injector or the fuel dampner. Anyway, it burned up a good amount of stuff but I was able to replace all of the burned wires and it has driven like a champ ever since. Scary as hell tho'! Regards aj
